The basis of this entry is aimed to be about Mercury Retrograde + a check in/update in life.

For starters, Happy One Month of having my own domain!
It feels so good to be able to say that I purchased my domain a month and two days ago. I am pretty sure the last entry that I published was on the 24th of April, but I wanted to post when I was ready, and now I am. Know, I can still be found on other social platforms, and my artwork tends to "speak" for itself. Remember, slow and steady always wins the race, and nothing comes before its time.
One of the main things that I wanted to add is getting my acceptance into Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. I will be majoring in Broadcast Journalism this fall 2022. I submitted my application in hopes that I was not late on 6 May 2022. On 16 May 2022, ten days later, I received an acceptance email into the university. Strangely, during that period, I have no idea why I was doubting myself, thinking I would not get in and questioning my ability. Even with meeting all the requirements. I even asked two of my favourite teachers if they would do letter of recommendations for me, and they happily agreed. When I told my sister I was surprised that they said yes, she responded, "Why are you surprised, you're you."
> And that is when I stopped sleeping on myself and my capability. Honestly, I am in bliss; this is just the beginning. I am appreciative of the experiences, the time, the abilities, the power, everything, and anything. My career, reach, and connection will be taking flight.
Mercury has gone Retrograde *
I know we are in a Mercury Retrograde right now, and some people are freaking out, but do not let it scare you. Retrogrades should not be a reason to slow down or be a deterrent for any projects and/or events. You would only be holding yourself back, let us not do that; no slowing ourselves down, unless necessary. Mercury goes into retrograde a good three to four times a calendar year, so more than likely around the same thing for an astrological year. When Mercury or a planet goes retrograde, it means the planet is moving in a backwards direction/motion. When it moves backwards it will have an influence on of course us, but it also has an influence on the other planets as well.
The effects/influence on us could just be verbal miscommunication in general, faces + reminders of/from the past, and feeling of things just slowing down or not moving as fast as you like. I say retrogrades are just like tests, if you are prepared, you will pass.
Mercury is the planet of communication, engagement, expression, and rules the third house. The astrological signs that are home in/for Mercury are Gemini and Virgo.
Some people are actually born with Mercury in Retrograde in their natal charts. So... how the majority of people are feeling now, is how they have almost always felt. Astrological years start with Aries season and end with Pisces season. We were also in eclipse season, had full and new moons, so we have had the works throughout the zodiacal seasons.
The first Mercury Retrograde of the year has really given me some time to reflect and to make sure that I am secure + happy with myself and what is around me. Gratitude and thankfulness will get you so far in life. The best security is self-security.
Last entry I stated that I reached 10k on 5 April 2022, it is 27 May 2022, and I have surpassed 12.8k. Thank you to all of you who support me, show me and my content love, and all around just encourage me and push me. The idea, and thought, of living in surrender feels good. Not having to force anything, but to just let the pieces of the puzzle float into segment.
Again I say, "Everything I want, I am going to get,
just because I said so, period."
+ As I have been posting more of my older artwork and pieces/pictures of myself, I have found another appreciation for myself and for time. We have made time such a deterring factor to force ourselves to complete the simplest things. Looking over on the pictures that I would have never thought to post really allowed me to appreciate more of myself than and now.
Do yourself a favour and love yourself through all your phases. You deserve it. ♡
+ I did say that I was saving up for a camera, and that kind of shifted to the back burner because I have had to pay for things with my truck & just saving. But that goal is slowing but steadly moving to the front, again expect vlogs, expect more, expect the unexpected, expect the ATBJ Way. ☆彡
